Provide practice leadership, expertise and advice to our Place-based teams, with a particular focus on Housing Support Managers and Senior Housing Support Managers, to support our customers and their whanau to live well in their homes.

• An integral part of my role is understanding the external support services available to our customers, building and maintain relationships with these services, leveraging those relationships to ensure our customers are connected to the services they may need.
• Provide coaching and guiding on how to effectively implement our wellbeing approach when supporting customers.

• Provide comprehensive support to individuals with complex needs who are involved in the criminal justice system.
• Promote and support living independently, pursuing their goals, and maintaining their well-being.
• Work within a team to ensure consistency and support in a safe and positive environment.

• Manage the tenancies of Housing New Zealand properties in the suburbs of Takaro, Westbrook, and Highbury in Palmerston North.
• Build strong and lasting relationships to ensure customers housing and wellbeing needs are being medt.
• Meet with key stakeholders to ensure that the tailored support and services stay in place for tenant’s and their whanau.
• Support tenant’s and their whanau are settled in their homes and community and ensure the house is fit for purpose.
• Ensure properties were well maintained and meeting government standards.
• Meet the obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act.

A community and Iwi-led program that provides holistic, whānau-centered support for families living in Housing New Zealand (now Kāinga Ora) homes. It aims to empower whānau to live in safe, loving relationships, free from violence, and to support them in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities.

• Support tenants and whanau who were under the Kāinga Whanau Ora Te Tihi initiative.
• Work as a collective with whanau and other key agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Provide both practical and emotional support to help individuals live as independently as possible in their homes.

• Assist with daily living tasks, manage homes, facilitate community outings, and may provide medication.
• Support and work alongside with individuals facing physical, emotional, or social challenges, and fostering independence and a sense of well-being.

Reason for leaving: Role was dis-established in new Government re-structure.

Provide administrative and logistical support to the Youth Justice team, primarily assisting Youth Justice Coordinators and Social Workers in fulfilling their duties related to young people in the criminal justice system. This includes tasks like gathering and distributing information, preparing reports, coordinating support staff, maintaining court records, and ensuring compliance with Oranga Tamariki procedures.
