The Research work was carried out on Obstetrics and Gynecology


*A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of structural teaching programme on knowledge regarding physiological and    psychological changes in puberty age among adolescent girls in selected government high schools at Rajkot.


*The objectives were to assess the level of knowledge of adolescent girls regarding physiological and psychological puberty changes.


*To find out association between pre-test and post-test level of knowledge regarding puberty changes with their demographic variables.


*The research design adopted was pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design.


*A structured knowledge questionnaire was prepared to assess the knowledge of the samples.


*The tools were developed by reviewing the extensive literature on the physiological and psychological puberty changes.


*The structured knowledge questionnaire and the planned health teaching by means of demonstration and charts validated by the experts.


*The pilot study was conducted on 10 samples and the study was found to be feasible.
