By providing students with a safe and comfortable learning environment. They are able to reach their pull potential and be able to take learning risks to challenge themselves. I am looking to give every student the opportunity to succeed and find their passion for learning no matter the boundaries. Students all learn differently so it's finding the best way for them to learn. Empathy and respect are some of my key values that I believe strongly in when in and outside the classroom. I model these values as I want to show respect and empathy towards my students and so I expect them to do the same to me and to their other classmates. Collaboration and working with students through self-directed learning is something I think is very valuable and it lets students be the leaders of knowledge for others to learn from. It makes them feel valued and can be a great tool to use because as teachers we learn new things every day.

• In spare time I perform and DJ around Tauranga, have been doing that for 3 years.
• I make a create my own music and produce songs.
• I run a promotions collective and put on gigs around Tauranga for the passion of music and connecting with other like minded people.
• I love to be active and surf and currently play in a futsal team. I also challenge myself to sign up for big running events and train for them as motivation.
