Hineaka Ruru

I have recently finished school and this will be my first year heading to further education in the workforce. I believe entering the workforce will give me the experience and ability to grow as a young adult but also give me the confidence to complete tasks on my own and make decisions that will hopefully benefit my future. I want to be able to earn my own income in the hopes that I may gain financial stability and independence. Out in the workforce I expect to gain skills, knowledge and qualifications that may better myself, my position and those I work for.

I was born and bred in the beautiful homeland of Waimana and here we are a community full of many activities. Whilst living here I have grown to love; hunting and gathering wild pork and venison, riding motorbikes, swimming at the river, camping, kapa haka, gathering firewood and being a helping hand at the marae for tangihanga. However outside of Waimana I have developed a interest in photography, travelling and making aesthetic post for social media, these three hobbies make my creative mind running.
