For the last ten years I was an academic social worker in Australia at Charles Sturt University, taking research, teaching, liaison and supervision roles with social work students. My main interests are conflict resolution and reconciliation, developing cultural competencies, Indigenous social work and Indigenous research methods. Before moving to Australia I practiced social work in Israel for 20 years; specialised in addiction treatment and trauma treatment with family therapy orientation, took on clinical and management roles. I developed programs and led government programs towards successful results for the clients through building teamwork and strong relationships with stakeholders.
