Reviews contractual documentation.
Reviews engineering documents to ensure that the project requirements are accounted for in the design.
Contribute to HAZOP review, coordinate HAZOP action items, and initiate and manage any changes to the P&D as a result.
Review material certificates and receiving it according to AGP specification.
Verification of pipeline route drawing with respect to approved drawings.
Inspection of gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest drawing for construction, codes and specification standards.
Develop P&IDs or mechanical flow sheets for pipelines, pig traps and slug catchers.
Perform sizing and design calculations for pipelines, risers and associated equipment.
Prepare and/or review riser designs, crossing designs, routing plans and permit documents.
Develop and/or review material specifications for pipelines & piping systems.
Review riser guard and riser support designs.
Familiar with pipeline construction including applicable codes and installation techniques.
Coordinate with construction foremen to organize and expedite daily activities.
Coordinate with QC Department to organize and expedite inspection activities.
Prepare Daily work activity report in order to match completion schedule as on time.
Ensure all personnel are following safety standard as per company HSE policy.
Prepare and/or review cost estimates for pipeline installation and assist with procurement activities.
Prepare pipeline pigging, commissioning, purging and start-up procedures.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure an integrated design that meets the project requirements.
Develop engineering reports and associated spreadsheets.
Develop or alter standard project specifications to meet specific project requirements.
Prepare data sheets for pipeline instruments and specialty items.
Coordinate and direct drafters in the creation of drawings.
Check drawings and other documents. Verify correctness of design and engineering data to verify completeness of the documents.
Interface with Project Managers, Engineers and clients, including attending project meetings.
Review certain vendor / fabricator quotations, shop drawings, and related submittals.
Maintain project files.
Coordinate procurement activities.
Provide construction and start-up assistance.
Develop regulatory submittals.
Additional duties as assigned.
