I recently submitted my PhD at the University of Auckland. I led the FERDINAND study, a $1.5 million clinical trial on whole fruit feijoa powder and its effects on type 2 diabetes biomarkers, during weight loss and weight maintenance, in individuals with prediabetes.
Alongside study leadership, I regularly presented my research to diverse audiences, including academic collaborators, clinicians, industry stakeholders, and public health groups. I liaised with medical experts to refine protocols, engaged with community partners to boost recruitment, and translated complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
