Currently a full-time Mother of two, raising my children in Central Otago, with passion, experience and education in Horticulture, Plant knowledge and Landscaping.
I am looking for a diverse, hands-on, physical role ideally in nature, with room for learning and growth.
I am a reliable, dependable and self motivated person, flexible and eager in many different roles and environments. I have many skills and certificates, am self-motivated and love to flourish where i feel nurtured and supported.
I have a strong work-ethic and enjoy surpassing expectation and standards. I enjoy completing tasks efficiently and taking the extra step, and being safety concious and promoting good mental health within a workspace.

- Since welcoming my first child at the beginning of 2024, I have significantly expanded my skill set and embraced a leadership role like never before. As a mother, I manage routines and the wellbeing of highly dependent individuals around the clock. I have developed expertise in conflict resolution, crisis management, budgeting, and organising activities and meals. My skills in resource and time management have been honed, along with my ability to emotionally regulate myself and others. Multitasking has become a key strength, and I have learned to remain calm under immense pressure during high-stakes situations. This experience has highlighted my efficiency in managing complex issues, proactively identifying potential problems, and juggling multiple responsibilities with grace and coordination.

- I was employed at a swim school several days a week, following full days of high school, where I instructed infants and children up to the age of 13 how to swim. Assisting individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities, in acquiring life-saving skills, proper safety techniques, and building confidence in and around water. This role significantly enhanced my interpersonal skills and maturity as I collaborated with parents and engaged with impressionable young learners, imparting knowledge about water safety both in class and in public spaces such as the beach. As well as curating personalised lesson plans suited to each students abilities, i also monitored progress and got confident in providing constructive criticism and feedback, for improvement. This job was both rewarding and motivating and taught me a lot about responsibility.

- Before the COVID-19 Pandemic struck, i was employed as a full-time nursery worker for a wholesale nursery. My roles included receiving and preparing orders for clients both on a personal scale and a larger commercial scale. I organised and tended to hundreds of plants and stock a day, and spent a lot of time optimising the health of the plants to increase their value, helping customers with crucial and valuable infomation about each variety, and applied seasonal knowledge to my work.

- I was employed as a casual yet highly valued team member in the garden department for several years. I assisted thousands of customers with plant selection, design choices and care guidance. I collaborated closely with customers, stockists, and product representatives to ensure repeat business and provide up-to-date, useful information to promote and sell effectively. My communication skills significantly improved during this role, and I retained extensive product knowledge by seizing every opportunity to learn and explore. I was responsible for ordering thousands of stock items weekly, memorising SKUs, and organising a diverse range of products, including plants and garden care items, and maintaining displays and the cleanliness of a large part of the store. I attended numerous in-company training sessions from well-known providers such as Kiwicare, Daltons, Zealandia, and Yates. My commitment to professional development and customer feedback led to several awards and badges. I approached this role with passion and enthusiasm, enjoying the chance to branch out into other retail sections and work with customers closely, and long-term.

- I worked with the owner of this company on a casual basis, several times a month, during my senior years of high school. My role involved reshaping and redesigning residential gardens and outdoor spaces, as well as mowing, weeding, and tree pruning. This position was physically demanding yet immensely rewarding. The sense of responsibility and the satisfaction derived from hard work that I gained from this experience will remain with me for a lifetime. Working under a valued and respected member of our community was inspiring.

- For the majority of 2015, I worked under a licensed property manager, to gain work experience at Ray White. I quickly gained many technical skills, and understanding of legal documents, databases, leases and bills. I used Excel spreadsheets and organised private information between clients and my leader, as well as coordinating client communication and issues. We visited many locations, hosted house showings and gained relationships with clients and potential clients alike, working with cleaning company's and attending business meetings. Organising meetings and managing the schedules and calendar of my leader, and listing property's. I learned crucial skills for productivity and efficiency here, as well as the confidence to be outgoing and exchange pleasantries.
