Summary

I studied in Auckland and I am a qualified physiotherapist which I worked as for 5 years. I have worked within a private practice setting and a hospital setting treating a range of patients including: musculoskeletal sport injuries, patients post joint surgery, patients post spinal surgery, acute cardiothoracic surgery and some acute neuro surgeries.

During 2022 I decided to have a career break within the medical industry. I am currently working at Coca Cola as a territory sales manager gaining new skills and working with a large customer base, the work is very fast paced.

My passion lays within the medical industry - the human body and helping others, I have always enjoyed the medical background and would love to have an opportunity to work in the medical industry in this role I have applied for a sales territory manager in the rehab side.

I pride myself as a passionate, friendly, outgoing and bubbly individual – always thriving to achieve my best.

  • While working at Align Health I would treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions within the clinic setting. Alongside this I also carried out a lot of work in the private hospitals - Braemar, Southern Cross and Anglesea Hospital treating cardiac, joint replacement, spinal, ACL reconstruction, ankle patient and some neurological patients. Within the hospital setting I was involved with organizing patient caseloads, handover lists, working and collaborating with the nursing staff and surgeons/ anaesthetist as and when required.

  • I was involved with Hautapu Rugby Club for 3 years, 2 years of this I had the opportunity to be the head physiotherapist for the premier team and the club. This involved working in a very busy fast paced environment where I had to prioritize my time well both at trainings and during the games, while juggling my caseload in the clinic. Due to such a large caseload of players to look after, effective communication between the coaching team/ management was very important important. Throughout the rugby seasons I also assisted at some of the Waikato trainings when I was needed with my work collegue.
