A passionate individual with a background in ecology and hands-on experience in environmental conservation. Having worked on protecting Fiordland for DOC and contributing to ecological restoration projects with Wildlands Consultants, I’ve witnessed the positive impact of conservation efforts. I am committed to sustainability and direct action to preserve the natural world. I also enjoy working with youth through the Student Diplomacy Corps and Bike School, offering opportunities for personal growth through activities like biking, hiking, and kayaking. With strong communication skills and a proactive mindset, I aim to make a lasting, positive difference in both community and environment.
Outside of my professional career, I enjoy exploring, in our backyard and beyond, whether by whitewater kayak, tramping, or climbing mountains. I am excited by how these experiences foster personal growth, enhancing both practical abilities and problem-solving skills, and I enjoy sharing them with others to build strong bonds with people and nature.
