Lead Role Responsibility: A solo number as well as featured parts in a quartet and large ensemble number. Had to learn many dances to a very high standard to reflect leading role.
Lionel the Homeless Man: A New Brain
Wintec Te Pukenga School Of Media Arts
02.2023 - 04.2023
Genderswapped character: I learnt how to translate a character into a different gender, and learning how to shift my vocal qualities to work with my song's keys/notes that were written for a female, by switching between belt, falsetto and bass on the fly.
Fast creation in short timeframe: We had a fast turnaround, with only 7 weeks from starting the rehearsal process to putting the show to stage. I had to be fast with memorising my part and all the material that came with it, and even faster with processing and making changes to my acting and delivery based on feedback from my director.
Frank Nugent, Hands on a Hardbody
Wintec Te Pukenga School Of Media Arts
07.2022 - 11.2022
National debut of show: As this show was so unknown and there was practically no reference material. Frank's personality and characteristics were all my own creative creation.
Commitment to standing out as a side character: Though Frank was a smaller part, he was constantly on stage in his own corner, and I worked hard to make everything he did and every moment he had unique, interesting, and entertaining to anyone that decided to glance over, never breaking character and always filling the space.

Resilience with extended rehearsal period through many COVID delays. The show was meant to release in October of 2021 but was delayed to Febuary 2022. I revised and kept all work fresh and polished throughout extensive lockdowns and rehearsal gaps until opening.
