My time working in the kitchen has taught me the importance of taking pride in your work and completing what is asked of you to the best of your ability, after my time at VinoVino I work to complete everything to the best of my ability, not just food but what is asked of me.
working as a prefect at school has taught me the importance of positively impacting the environment your in, weather that's a school, organisation and community.
my time as a volunteer firefighter has taught me effecting communications, practical field skills, and personal resilience both physically and mentally. Im able to take pride in the work that I do, and move forward with the desire to constantly add improve, and widen my skillsets and experiences.
an accomplishment which I take great pride in, was my climb for the Firefighter Skytower Challenge on may 20th, to me this was a huge accomplishment both physically having completed the climb in 19 minutes, but also financially, I was able to raise $1,000 of vital funds for the New Zealand Blood and Leukaemia Foundation.
In the beginning of 2022, I took part in the cactus program run by the New Zealand police, this was a physical workshop starting at 6am, 3 mornings a week, this was a physical challenge, but I ultimately enjoyed the process, In the end of the 8 weeks I was awarded Top student for the 2022 cactus course.
