I am currently employed as a Project Coordinator working on the Human Papillomavirus Primary Screening Programme. For the first 8 months I was on a 0.5 fte split between both the AIR and HPV projects. Within the HPV project my fte has been split 0.5 on the PMO team and the other 0.5 Campaigns and Resources delivery team. During my time on the HPV project I have:


  • Been appointed as secretariat for both our Māori and Pacific Campaign Advisory Groups, who advise on the direction of our media campaign for both un and under-screened population groups.
  • Ran payroll and invoice payment for both advisory groups along with providing advice to the rest of the project on best practice.
  • Prepared meeting agendas and minutes for distribution and record keeping.
  • Ran actions, risks and issues registers, reporting the outcome of these meetings to Steer Co.
  • Tracked hours and expenses to keep project on task and within budgetary parameters.
  • Assisted with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Provided ad hoc system, hardware and software support.
  • Used my previous expertise to negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, securing favourable terms for cost-effective procurement of resources.
  • Arranged travel and accommodation for team members, working group members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinated venue and catering arrangements, speaker and attendee liaison and material distribution for meetings and events.

  • I was then headhunted to work at the Ministry of Health on contract, as a Recruitment Advisor sitting within Data and Digital and specialising in contract IT roles. During my time in this role I:


  • Maintained excellent working relationships with agents and vendors while resourcing the Aotearoa Immunisaton Register (AIR) along with ad Hoc recruitment for another 5 projects within Data and Digital.
  • Updated and managed our make-shift contracts management system on JIRA
  • Created resource plans, memos and contract templates.
  • Entered into contract and rate negotiation.
  • Ran onboarding and offboarding of vendors, contractors and temp staff.
  • Coordinated interviews.

I was employed as the sole Recruitment Advisor at the Office of the Ombudsman. This was a full end to end lifecycle position on an initial six month fixed term running through till January 2022. During my time at the Office of the Ombudsman I:

  • Ran the following tasks which included candidate management, diary management, reference checks, advert creation as well as assisting hiring managers with any other ad hoc or related recruitment needs and questions.
