Jacob Klemick

I worked at Vision Surveys over the summer of 2024/25. I gained valuable practical surveying skills both in the office and in the field. The work that I was assigned ranged from small house set-out's, drone surveys, topos and even worked on some of the larger scale projects that the company had on the go. I also used applications such as 12d and magnet in the office.

Over the summer of 2023/24 I was able to work for Landpro on a summer internship. Here I was able to put my University knowledge of 12d and Landonline into real life situations for clients. I was also able to apply practical experience I had learnt at University into real life jobs around Central Otago. The jobs were both rural and urban environments. I also worked for Landpro throughout the University breaks in the year.

Over the month long University break in 2023 I had brief experience working at Patterson's. This was my first surveying experience in the work force and involved very basic tasks being a chainy. I was involved in the early stages of the Wooing Tree Subdivision.
