Jade Forman

I joined Goodman Fielders finance graduate program in 2022 where I did 4 rotations learning a range of skills.

• Commercial Finance - As a finance business partner to the sales team I would analyze and report on financial sales data. In this rotation I learnt how to communicate effectively across functions and work under tight timeframes.
• Financial Planning - In the financial planning team I worked on implementing Tableau across the business. I partnered with commercial finance to create reporting and analysis tools for the sales team.
• Costing - In the costing team I used my Tableau knowledge to help improve back end reporting of commodities within the business. I created reports that help minimize risk caused by market volatility through cost scenario analysis.
• Operations - I partnered with site leads to create dashboards that help analyze and report on site and CAPEX data. I created reporting tools that give more accessibility on operational data to the wider business and create a centralized data hub.

Working at Plant Hawkes Bay I had an adaptive role with work changing throughout the seasons. My job required me to be ready and active to achieve any task that needed to be done, from helping customers pick up and care for their plants, too driving tractors. I learnt many skills in this role including:

• Ability to work individually and as a team
• Communication with workers and customers
