I am an energetic and bubbly individual, dedicated to nurturing and providing high quality education and care to our Tamariki.
I strive to learn more and do better as a kaiako, reflecting on my practice and advancing my knowledge to provide my best self for the Tamariki in my care. I am a very curious individual, and enjoy getting down to the child's level, seeing through their eyes, learning alongside each tamaiti, and discovering their passions and interests. I am very patient, and full of love.
Personal Philosophy
My practice is influenced by the hikairo schema, as I believe relationships are the foundation to all learning and development. I believe that holistic well being is important, I strive to work alongside Tamariki, their whanau and the other kaiako in collaborative ways to ensure inclusion and belonging.
Following Te whariki I see Tamariki thriving in play based curriculum where the child has agency over their own learning and the right to follow their passions and interests.
