  • Providing feedback to trainer on how each horse feels during their work.
  • Ensuring that each horse is feeling sound, working consistently, and enjoying their morning workouts.

Yearling Prep

  • Experience parading and leading through the ring at Karaka sales.
  • Daily handling, grooming and caring for yearlings, including colts.
  • Ensuring the stables are maintained and presented to a high standard.

  • Strapping at the races, jumpouts and trials, including traveling and managing horses on solo away trips to race meetings.
  • Managing the syndicate ownership for the horse 'Ribella Rose"
  • Forming and managing video updates and emails for owners, and sending these to them in a timely fashion, consistently ensuring they are kept up to date with their horses progress and performances.
  • Managing staff and horses on Sundays. This includes being responsible for their care and routine being carried out efficiently and adequately, ensuring every horse is checked over thoroughly and are all sound and happy.
  • Training new employees, making sure they understand and comply with our systems and feel welcomed into our work environment.
  • Track work rider (occasionally)
