Jakob Gillespie

This is a role with responsibility for accurate, timely and safe processing of ferrous and non-ferrous
metals. It also includes safe, professional, positive, and pro-active customer support. Measures include
feedback from customers, accuracy of processing, minimising incidents, quality measures and timely
completion of tasks. Adherence to health & safety procedures and efficient time management are
essential in this role.

I was also tasked and trained with the operation of a forklift, compactors and hydraulic guillotine amongst the other duties listed above.

• Performed maintenance of harvesting equipment, such as changing the cutter teeth on harvester's header and cleaning the grain bunker.
• Operated a Front Loader Tractor, moving shingle and dirt to fill in ledges, then shoveled by hand.
• Waterblasting of Tractors, and inside cleaning of the cab.
• Dry cleaning of multiple grain storage/drying wagons.
• Internal cleaning of equipment sheds.

• Can uphold a Military level of discipline, professionalism and standard of dress.
• Am a primary source of leadership for my Cadets.
• Maintained clean, neat and operational facilities to serve the needs of my squadron's needs.

• Am qualified in functional leadership and Instructional techniques after attending courses at RNZAF Base Woodbourne and Burnham Military Camp.

• Am responsible for checking and maintaining carriages and their equipment.
• Signaled to engineers regarding train stopping, starting, directional switches or emergencies.
• Operated controls to activate track switches and traffic signals.
• Am proficient at shunting wagons and coaches.
• Entertain passengers by clipping tickets and providing knowledge on the railway's history.
• Am a track crew member, which involves the replacement of heavy railway sleepers, track gauging and track clearing.
• Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Also participate in the local Model Engineers.

I am currently the main Barista at Joe's Garage Ashburton, which involves;

- Serving beverages to a high standard

- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene

- Providing impeccable customer service

- Effectively using a PoS system

- Having a high level of bar knowledge

Additional duties I also take on, are the Marketing aspects of the business, along with miscellaneous cleaning.
