I have always wanted to be a mechanical engineer from a young age having found the skills and processes to make things with metal very interesting and this has progressed into a love for mechanical engineering and design. I would like to be responsible at a higher level for a product or component that I feel passionate about. - My position as a fitter and turner requires a vast knowledge of all aspects of engineering. In addition, project management skills and electrical knowledge.
- Responsibilities include supervising coworkers on the assembly and fitting of assemblies and sub-assemblies, manufacturing machinery parts, light fabrication work, constructing pneumatic systems, manufacturing sub-assemblies, and fitting to main assembly as well as testing of completed products
- In addition to New Zealand-based work I have travelled abroad to install, maintain and diagnose wire fence machines and provide training to new operators.

- May 2024- Mexico/Houston- Machine install, developing rapport with a new customer and education of existing machinery. Houston was to be a maintenance trip but due to a weather event flew back to Mexico to meet with the customer provide maintenance education and discuss sales of new machines
- Performed fitting and turning operations on a variety of components using manual lathes, milling machines and grinders.
- Autodesk Inventor. Producing models and assemblies for manufacture. Creating DXF and step files to provide information for manufacture.
- Customer support. Always on call via messaging app WhatsApp to provide support and advice for any faults or queries customers may have
- I have recently stepped up to assist in the design office, although a steep learning curve to begin with I have enjoyed the challenge of learning the processes and intricacies that the roll requires. I have leant heavily on my past experience skills during this time and produced more manufacture friendly parts and assemblies because of this.
