I am cheerful, enthusiastic and easy-going. Rigorous in doing things, meticulous in work, and go that extra mile for my company. I work well under pressure. Able to calmly deal with emergencies and promote work in an orderly manner. I can multi-task. I can work in a team environment or happy to be left sole charge as well. I am a professional person who still likes a good laugh.
I am 100% New Zealander that will get the job done.
My biggest success story was when I imported a Santa Gertrudis Bull and introduced him to my breeding herd. It was a massive task looking at all the genetics, different studs and shows which I visited to come up with the final bull. The importing was a whole new experience also. I went on the prompt the breed by showcasing him at field days and competing in competitions. I successfully got 2nd in 'Hoof and Hook' for all of New Zealand and also, I got placed in semi finalist with 'the steak of origin' also a New Zealand wide event. I got to feature some of my cows in a movie that was filmed in Wellington.
My other life achievement was my own business, Tawa Glen. I turned a little coffee shop into a commercial enterprise. It not only did the day to day cafe and garden clientele but I also hosted many private functions, including weddings, work functions, corporate events along with the feature which was the sentry hill winery tour thus catering for 3000 people including the bands and the VIP marque. I opened seven days and I believe the secrete to my success was I created all my own delicious dishes and what customers were trending. I was fast at getting food out not comprising quality and I was consistence with my opening hours/days along with my great staff and our welcoming nature.
