I first did some unpaid experience for two weeks at Fulton Hogan in the workshop over the last school holidays in 2021. At the end of the experience i was offered a position as an engineering apprentice which i gladly took and began a week after i finished my NCEA level 2 in November of that year. I really do enjoy my job and am sad to be looking for employment elsewhere but i feel its a necessity to advance my career and skillset to become a qualified tradesman.
I have experience with civil and quarry machinery and equipment as well as well as general fabrication and maintenance.
experience in fabrication, repair and maintenance, some machining.
