Key Deliverables

• Manage and process network access requests to enable safe planned works on Powerco’s electrical network.
• Ensure compliance with Powerco and industry network operating standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support real-time operational activities during CIM events, maintaining continuity and risk control.
• Contribute to projects and technical investigations related to network operations and continuous improvement.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage network outages, using clear communication and stakeholder engagement to overcome constraints and minimise disruption.

• Team Leader of Projects- Involved in running jobs involving 150+ poles and re-conductor, from preparation through to completion of as-builts
• Emergency Response/ often first on scene to dangerous and developing situations such as car vs pole. Using my comprehensive Health and Safety understanding to minimise risk and isolate hazards
• Consistently achieving and outperforming against KPI's
• Sound knowledge of South Taranaki & North Taranaki Rural & Town Network (HV & LV)
• Willing to support and actively assist other team members with the workload of the assigned job and share successes and ideas within the team
• Able to evaluate my own performance and develop personal strategies to improve outcomes. I hold an extremely high expectation for my own performance and have developed a standard of discipline to be self-motivated
• Entry Approval- Class 1a, 1b
• Permit and Access to HV Network- Class 2
• Operating Plant and Machinery-Class 4
• Overhead Network- Class 5a, 5b
• Underground Network- Class 6a, 6b
• Fault Response/ Field Switcher- Class 10a, 10b
• Safety Supervisor- Class SS
• Experience with NAPA- applying for shut-downs
