• Design, implement and drive best practice Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics solutions for NZ to achieve key supply chain metrics.

• Responsible for all supply chain management, including consigned and non-consigned materials;
• Ensuring the company maintains minimal levels of stock levels to satisfy workload and delivery partner requirements;
• Responsible for the management and reporting on stock churn and material ageing;
• Ensure the Company obtains cost effective quality supplies for operations including consigned materials to supply to Delivery Partners; including that the materials meet health and safety requirements.
• Responsible for all procurement activities for goods and services for the UCG New Zealand business;
• Ensure good relationships exist with suppliers and service providers so the company has reliable sources of supplies available including reserve options where applicable, maintaining key performance indicators on supplier performance and effects on UCG customers
• Identify new products and supply chains which can be a source of the materials, stock and equipment required for Delivery Partners and the company’s other operational requirements;
• Optimize processes for the company’s logistics function and supply chain including but not limited to ordering and purchasing, goods in, stock management, put away functions, goods out, kitting processes and waste management;
• Work with internal stakeholders to effectively manage tenders and RFP’s for goods and services supplied to drive cost efficiencies within the company’s supply chain;
• Prepare and present Business Cases to support cost out initiatives and change management recommendations
• Ensure all material is delivered (or available as needed) in full and on time (in conjunction with stakeholders), with any possible issues mitigated, escalated or communicated where required;
• Having a good relationship with the client and its supply chain so that materials coordinated and supplied through this network are ordered on time to meet operational needs;
• Record keeping of supplies which includes updating company information systems which tracks the allocation of supplies to Delivery Partners and where applicable records which identify which materials were used at specific job sites;
• Ensuring Delivery Partners pay for supplies where a cost is payable by them;
• Manage the facilities associated with the company’s operations and other points of presence
• Implement best practice and innovation into the company’s supply chain function, through continuous improvement including adoption of new technology and methodology;
