RESPONSABILITIES

Doing initial assessment and documenting in a brief, accurate, and complete manner.

  Checking of vital signs – temperature, pulse, Respiration, and

Blood pressure.

  Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the  Nursing care plan.

 Prioritizing nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identified needs.

  Educate patients/families on health care needs, conditions,

and options.

 Adhere to strict infection controls to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

  Pre and post-operative care for minor and major general

surgeries, and proper pain management.

  Handling different types of wounds after surgery including- VAC

dressings.

 Knowledge of emergency medication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, initial assessment, and  Management of acute and critical patients.

  Assisting in invasive procedures such as CVC and arterial line

insertion.

 Advocate for the patient's best interests and ensure that rights are respected.
