At Mcdonalds Greymouth I had a range of jobs some of these included, managing and training other employees and their daily tasks and breaks, opening and closing the business, serving customers, cooking and making food and coffees. Mcdonalds is one of the most popular fast food restaurants in Greymouth involving a great number of customers that come through each day. Having a great number of customers involves having the ability to work efficiently while under pressure. I managed this extraordinarily well and was always noticed by other managers, crew members, customers and my boss how this is an exceptional skill to have. I completed many courses online including barista, crew trainer and management and many more to do with the workplace. Being able to take orders, serve customers, managing a crew of employees and being scheduled to work shifts including opening and closing the restaurant involves a great deal of responsibility and trust from my work employers. Having these skills benefit anyone involved in any work environment they find themselves in with any job or workplace.

This job is based around our customers and services we provide. Within this job my position was as a grocery assistant where I was responsible for stocking shelves and looking after the stores products.

This is a very important position in this business as the products within the store is very important as we a strictly based and rely on customer service. I was responsible for stock take, counting each and every individual item and their quantity to withhold of the knowledge of needing to order more goods, stocking shelves, disposing of any expired waste products and updating display shelves weekly and taking down hundreds of specials and their offers and replacing with new ones. I was also available to assist any customers with any helped needed on finding or obtaining any product they were in need of. My main position was working in grocery but I also offered to help on checkout where I assisted greater amount of customers and was complimented for being amazing to work in an environment involving a number of customers and people. This job required a great number of skills such as, responsibility, management, good communication, decision making, good work ethic, and the ability to work with others. All these aspects are great skills to have and have helped in all day to day activities and any job I have withheld since and will in the future.
