Volunteer Work

For the past 5 years my husband and I have organised a major Christmas event at our large church (Church Unlimited) called Christmas Wonderland. This involves many many hours of planning months beforehand, organising helpers, recruiting volunteers, trying to source donations,  coming up with new and exciting ideas for displays and executing it all to a high standard that allows the community to enjoy and experience a magical event. The look on children's faces and excitement that this creates, makes the volunteer hours worth it! I love feeling like I've helped make a difference and brought joy to the community.
