Initially my position at Murray Haig Chartered Accountant was preparing financial accounts and tax returns, GST returns for our clients. The position started as a part time position. This was while my children were young.

As my children got older my role there became full time and became fully involved in all aspects in the business.

When Xero released their new accounting we transitioned the clients over to use it for preparing the clients' financials/tax returns. I had a pivotal role in getting the practices' client financial information onto the xero platform. This also involved training and supporting the clients to use this product.

I my role now have a close business relationship with the clients supporting them for any financial help they need for their businesses.

Prepared annual financial accounts and tax returns for clients. Registering client for GST and preparing GST returns for the clients.

Checking tax assessments from the Inland Revenue Department, advising clients of tax to pay and contacting the Inland Revenue with queries of discrepancies.

The role also included preparation of wages, reception and other administration tasks.
