- Assists and supports the
- Care Home Manager's management of the Care Home. Actively participates in the facility Quality and Risk Management Programme seeking continuous improvement of all services.
- Monitors the provision of care to residents to ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained.
- Provides oversight of resident clinical records and recordings to ensure they meet organisational and legislative requirements.
- Active involvement in all aspects of human resource management.
- Coordinates the provision and use of clinical supplies within the facility ensuring resources are allocated and utilised cost-effectively.
- Participates in the implementation of an effective education programme.
- Demonstrates commitment to the provision of a safe environment for residents and staff. In the absence of the Care Home Manager, assume the responsibilities for the Care Home.
- Collaborated with multidisciplinary team to evaluate patient data and determine patient care plans.
- Filling the position of the Care Home manager or Clinical Nurse Leader on an interim basis during a recruitment period, covering extended sick leave, annual leave etc.
- Supporting the existing Care Home Manager or Clinical Nurse Leader to improve their skills, knowledge and understanding through hands-on in-house training
- Providing support during specific needs such as preparation for certification audit or an outbreak/pandemic
- Providing monitoring through facility health check program or internal auditing
- Providing hands-on clinical support during Registered nurse shortages or significantly increased demand and/or acuity of services.
