I am a passionate Lyttelton Port Comany employee with 20 yrs plus experience in the maintenance Team covering multiple disciplines including leading and working with a great team of Tradesman to complete both large and small projects.
I feel like I have completed most of what I can in the Stores role and wish to return to what I am most passionate about which is working with the current mechanical maintenance team members to provide a high standard of service to our internal customers . I realise this is a big challenge with moving to a new facility but I feel I am up to it as with the new restructure we have plenty of experience and support.
The Planning & performance supervisor role was created as part of a re-structure of the foreman and the maintenance planning persons where I carried out the following.
Working in this role I played a major role with support from the M3 administrator of building service schedules along with associated items to support all of the operations that the maintenance team covered . I supported both foreman by working with them to provide prepared service packages and also assisted to setup major project work.
I worked closely with the maintenance manager at the time to start the service TA program due to the work load we were experiencing at the time.
I also setup the Oil unloader service plan and brought on a contractor to bring the oil unloaders up to standard as well as develop a refurbishment program .
I also run the Komatsu Loader and Dozer midlife service program by working with the service provider and finance to ensure the project was accurately capitalised and completed ontime.
I enjoyed this role greatly and due to the restructure I was moved to the next role of planning and performance supervisor.
