JESSICA HOLMES

I am 18 years old and live in the Mellons Bay area when I am home in Auckland, and the Ilam area in student accommodation while I am studying. I recently graduated from Macleans College in Auckland, New Zealand. Currently I am studying at the University of Canterbury I am looking for part-time/casual work to develop my abilities and to fund my studies. I have two years of hospitality experience as a server/waitress in two Italian style restaurants. I also have experience in coaching netball to a range of ages, and volunteer coaching. I consider myself practical, kind and able to thrive in a team environment. My other attributes include being passionate, a quick learner and a good communicator with a desire to complete activities and tasks well, to the best of my ability.

• Mellons Bay Netball Club, Netball Coach, 2021 to 2021, Volunteered to coach a year 5 netball team, committed to 2 days of coaching per week plus games and extra events such as tournaments.
• Macleans College XI Girls Cricket Team, 2020 to 2023, Member of the team for 5 years during the summer season.
• Macleans College Netball, 01/2019 to 2023 Captain of the 9B, 10B and senior teams each year. In 2023, member of Premier 1 Netball.
• Macleans College Upham Academic Captain, 2023. Running/organising the peer tutoring of Upham house.
• Macleans College School Prefect, 2023. Organising school events, managing peers.
