• Accurate processing of fortnightly payroll including maintenance of employee records and dealing with employee questions and special situations.
• Maintenance of the inventory database and timely ordering of stock. Research into new products and establishing relationships and accounts with new suppliers. Participation in the annual stocktake.
• Payment of all invoices and maintenance of invoice records. Reconciliation of payments in XERO and preparation of monthly Profit and Loss reports and bi-monthly GST returns.
• Provide exceptional customer service when on the shop floor as well as replenishing shelves and bins and maintaining a tidy and organised shop (*Pleae note: this is mainly in the past after I moved to Masterton mid-2021 and continued to work remotely).

• Provided exceptional customer service to families using the toy library. Grew membership from 30 families to almost 100.
• Maintenance of toy stock in the toy library stock management system. Clear labelling of toys and toy pieces.
• Maintained a tidy, organised and safe library space for users of the toy library.
• Regular engagement with the toy library committee and preparation of reports for committee meetings and to help with the smooth operation of the library.

Prior to starting a family I spent 15 years in medical research and teaching at both the Malaghan Institute and The University of Melbourne (1996 to 2011). I learnt many valuable skills during this time where my main roles were to support students with their learning as well as managing a lab and my own research.
