Te Atatu Peninsula

Summary

I began my working career at McDonald’s after leaving high school, where I gained valuable experience in my first year. I learned the importance of being punctual, multitasking under pressure, and working as part of a team. These fundamental skills have carried over into my other jobs.

Currently, I work in the passive fire industry and have enjoyed learning about its importance in building safety. I’ve gained knowledge of why passive fire protection is essential and how our role ensures the correct materials are installed to prevent the spread of smoke and fire.

I am confident working independently without supervision and have experience using power tools, sealing penetrations, and installing various products, including batt work, gib, and fire collars. While I am still learning, I am eager to continue improving my skills in this field.
