Jiewen Xu

My name is Jiewen Xu and this is my personal statement of my CV which will help me to obtain a job as a Registered Nurse.

I am a recent graduate nurse from Waikato Institute of Technology. I aspire to a career in nursing. In the past three years, I have accumulated a wealth of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the clinical placement, and passed most of the subjects with an A or B score. In my past clinical placements, I have received positive feedback from patients on several occasions.
In addition, as an international student who has been in New Zealand for several years,I have also mastered and understood the language and culture of many countries. When providing care to patients, I can take their culture into consideration and achieve cultural safety.
I am also a careful person and good at calculation. In the past clinical placements, there have been no errors in medication calculation, and I will continue to maintain such seriousness in the future work to minimize the possibility of medication errors.
The past experience of participating in the census has also improved my ability to communicate and solve problems. I also believe that this will help me establish a good therapeutic relationship with patients in my future work.
I am eager to contribute my knowledge and enthusiasm to the team, and I also believe that I will quickly integrate into the team to bring better experience to health consumers. I am excited about the possibility of joining Te Whatu Ora and contributing. I really appreciate your time.
