A committed, confident, and well-trained acupuncturist seeking the position of a full-time acupuncturist at Otahuhu Chiro Clinic, passionate about caring for those with a need through his vast knowledge and experience in traditional Chinese medicine.
My enthusiasm for studying Chinese medicine began long ago. I have been studying Chinese medicine over 20 years. My passion for Chinese medicine began from my childhood experience when I saw my father's chronic illness, which had never been cured through western medicine, healed completely with acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine. I became interested in treating people with TCM medicinal knowledge and skills. So, I started to read books about Traditional Chinese medicine and study the philosophy of Chinese medicine privately. My major in university was English Literature, so I got a job in a trading company for my family's livelihood. However, my enthusiasm for studying for Chinese medicine grew more and more each day. Then came eventually came a day which I decided to do something for my dream of many years. This journey led me to New Zealand with my two daughters and wife to study Chinese medicine. I graduated from the New Zealand College of Chinese medicine. Carefully studied traditional Chinese medicine very hard for over three and half years. I have also learned and finished the Chinese traditional acupressure massage(Tui-na massage)course as it was very attractive to me. I also first hardly trained the Tui-na massage skill from the school clinic and realized TCM was in fact developed for therapeutic effect. My experiences of treating many patients with Tui-na and acupuncture skills in the school clinic made me was very successful and pleasant - to see many people who were recovered from much pain and distress through my knowledge and skill in TCM became my driving force.
I have especially had many experiences of treating old-aged patients with chronic or acute pain and am specialized in electric acupuncture and Tui-na massage. My urge to study Chinese medicine is still an ongoing journey and I currently have been working with Physiotherapists in central Auckland as a full-time acupuncturist happily for 3 years. However, I am looking for another chance for my career as an acupuncturist, to help those in need. I am looking forward to the new challenge and to broadening my horizon even further.
