A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual seeking an apprentice mechanic position to utilize and expand my mechanical knowledge and skills in a professional automotive repair environment. I am currently studying part-time to obtain a level 3 qualification in automotive engineering. I have been working with cars and trucks for a number of years, during which I have gained expertise in diagnosing and repairing my own vehicles as well as those of my friends both diesel and petrol engines (Changed engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and diff oil. Replaced alternator, starter motor, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, shock absorber, steering rack end, tie rod end, cv shaft, wheel bearing, brake pad, ignition coils, spark plugs, output flange oil seal, etc). Eager to learn from experienced technicians and contribute to the success of a reputable automotive service company.
