• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• • Perform Nursing Assessment plan, implement and evaluate care rendered
• • Maintain accurate detailed reports and records of the patient care rendered.
• • Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes, acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• • Monitor and record vital signs and general condition of the patient to render standard care.

• • Communicate with other staff, patients and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
• • Instruct patients, families and other student groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention etc.
• • prepare treatment rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies and ensure the stock of supplies is maintained.
• • Maintain patients’ privacy and protects operations by keeping information’s confidential.
• • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation [CPR] in case of emergency.
• • Ensure operation of medical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and following manufacturer’s instructions.
• • Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stocks to determine inventory level and by anticipating needed supplies.
• • Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care team by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, participating in team problem solving methods.
