• Led a team of 16 teachers at Tiny Wonders through a year long process of learning story development. I worked alongside the manager organizing professional development on how to write learning stories. Organised the non contact office with a variety of resources to assist the teachers in linking the learning to play. I trained new teachers on how how to use StoryPark and document in this platform. I was able to advocate for an additional half an hour non contact tIme be implemented. I created an informative leaflet and a mini book with more details on learning stories, and every teacher got their own copy. Within 6 months there was a noticeable improvement in the quality of learning stories produced. The manager was really impressed at how well the stories flowed and the learning they were weaving throughout their stories were great and an enjoyable to read. I was also very impressed with the big improvement of quality of learning stories and went around the centre complimenting the teachers on their improvement. So proud of the team.
• When Tiny Wonders had their ERO visit, the 3 head teachers and mydelf, (Curriculum Leader) were called onto the non contact office for a scheduled meeting. At this stage we had been working together consistently in our roles for just over a year and we had developed a great rapport, respect and appreciation for each other, and every teacher voiced positive practices about each other. I was really happy to hear them acknowledge that the work I did, the time I invested, and the support I gave each teacher was greatly appreciated and praised my practice.
