Hello and Kia Ora! I am a dedicated Optometrists currently working in the garden city of Aotearoa, Ōtautahi Christchurch. I have a patient centred mindset committed to offering excellent eye care. Through my graduate journey with Specsavers I have grown to be a team player. I work with eagerness and diligence alongside 4 other optometrists and the retail team. I have trained to be proficient in utilising diagnostic tools to diagnose ocular conditions and provide excellent management whilst maintaining detailed patient records. Alongside skills in diagnosing, I have gained experience and efficiency in timely referrals for patients particular for an elderly demographic; where my current work environment regularly observes a high volume of outgoing referrals for progressive pathologies. I am passionate about paediatrics, myopia control, low vision and pathology. I am proactive about my learning, actively attending seminars hosted by local opthalmologists and webinars. My strengths are building excellent patient rapport, hardworking and harmonious in a team setting, showing attentiveness and good communication and management throughout Paediatrics and Geriatrics eye examinations. I would love to gain stronger proficiency in RGP/hard contact lens fitting, management of anterior segment disorders/diseases. I am excited to not only pursue excellence in eye care but in addition to pursue life and community in a new environment and setting. I am enthusiastic to continue to help lives as an optometrist and be part of an amazing team.
