• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to understand the vehicle's electrical system
• Install various electrical components in vehicles, such as lighting systems (headlights, taillights, indicators), audio systems, security systems, GPS systems, power windows, central locking systems, and other aftermarket electrical accessories
• Connect, splice, and route electrical wiring in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and industry standards
• Fault finding on diesel electric locomotives and other plant and equipment as required
• Completing electrical wiring for the manufacture of road transport vehicles and their associated ancillary equipment
• Electrical fitment including wiring of tow bars, trailer plugs, electric brakes, reverse cameras, taillights, wiring of interior and exterior lighting for vehicles etc

• Interpret electrical drawings and accurately follow build requirements
• Install electrical components and perform auto electrical wiring on range of heavy vehicles
