  • Deployed as a part of every major incident response in the last four years, including the Auckland CBD shooting, the February 23' floods, and our Cyclone Gabriel East Coast response. I am also a GoodSAM and have responded to many cardiac arrest events.
  • Have been the sole Maori Chaplain responsible for te Tai Tokerau within Hato Hone St John for the last four years.
  • Worked alongside our Priory Dean, Archbishop Sir David Moxon, to upskill the Chaplaincy workforce in their tikanga Maori competency wherein I designed and have begun the implementation of our Treaty Competency training for St John Chaplains.
  • Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive emergency response, addressing physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
  • Provided spiritual guidance, emotional support and direct care to paramedics, family members and staff.
  • Built a strong relationship with a network of community groups and Churches through the Hato Hone St John Chaplaincy.
