At this role i also covered various positions including starter meal chef, Dish washer, front house meet and greet, managing the pass, and also things like stock take and meal prep in mornings.

• In this role, I underwent specialized training in aluminum fabrication and welding within a tight-knit team alongside Ash, my mentor. This hands-on experience equipped me with proficiency in measuring, crafting, and installing bespoke louver systems and gates. Additionally, I managed logistics, serving as the primary driver for truck operations, forklift driving and overseeing aluminum stock orders and powder coating arrangements. Handling a diverse portfolio, from intricate furniture pieces to architecturally designed aluminum features for high-value properties, enriched my skills and versatility in the craft.

• At this juncture, I not only honed my welding skills by fabricating aluminum underground chambers but also took charge of the dispatch area. This hands-on experience not only expanded my welding repertoire beyond steel, which I primarily worked with in my previous role but also provided valuable insight into logistical operations.

• In my inaugural role post-engineering certification, I found myself on a unique trajectory where my boss eventually proposed succession upon his retirement. Although not a long-term fit for me, the experience proved exceptionally enriching. From crafting scrum machines for sports teams to installing ground-integrated trampolines in high-end Auckland homes, the role offered a diverse array of projects. As the sole fabricator and welder under the mentorship of a seasoned professional, I acquired invaluable skills in metalwork, including bending and welding techniques, laying a strong foundation for my career.
