I began this role to expand my skills and transition into more commercial work. Through a wide variety of work I have gained experience across multiple areas. These include but are not limited to.


- Commercial block refurbishments, re-wiring and upgrades.

- Commercial switchboard upgrades.

- Emergency lighting.

- Outside lighting.

- Conduit / capping work.

- Fault finding / troubleshooting.

- Testing of commercial electrical installations.


Through this position I also completed a heat pump installers course, and have plenty of experience installing and servicing air conditioning systems.

I started my apprenticeship working on mostly residential / new builds with some commercial experience. Some key skills and knowledge I gained at this job are:

- Installation of wiring systems, appliances and electrical components.

- Switchboard wiring.

- Installation and commissioning of alarm systems.

- Fault finding / diagnosing electrical issues.

- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards on new residential properties.

- Upgrading wiring / components in home renovations.

- General residential maintenance.

About me

In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, watching / playing sport and socialising with my mates.
