• I started back at Mills Honda learning to be a small engines technician working with quality stihl products. I have learnt how to diagnose faults on a range of different outdoor products (chainsaws etc), How to sharpen chains correctly and also good customer service. I did this for about 6 months and then manager asked if I would go back onto the motorcycles since there was only enough work for 1 small engines tech. so at the moment I am carrying out services and diagnosing faults. I love being a motorcycle technician but I am looking for a new challenge.

I started at Harvest Hawkesbay as a machinery operator since I wanted to try something new. I gave this job a good crack but I did not feel confident enough to carry out the work that needed to be done so I decided to go back to being a mechanic. This job was a good chance to experience operating heavy machinery and finding out that it was the best fit for me.

• I started at Tractor Repairs and spares as a motorcycle technician and completed my motorcycle apprenticeship in June 2023. Once I completed my apprenticeship I stayed on as motorcycle tech since they had to many diesel apprentices so I had to wait for an opening. I decided to leave TRS as there wasn't going to be an opportunity for some time. I worked at TRS as a motorcycle technician working on Polaris atvs and side by sides, Also working on other brands of atvs and side by sides. Also i worked on the odd tractor and mower.

• I started at Mills Honda doing a 1 week trial after which I was offered a motorcycle technician apprenticeship. I started out by cleaning and doing basic servicing until I was up to scratch, once I was up to speed I learnt how to service quads, two wheelers and side by sides. Over the 3 years working at mills Honda I learnt a lot of good skills and ways to carrying out different tasks. I enjoyed working at mills Honda over the 3 years but then decided I would like to pursue a diesel apprenticeship that I was offered at Tractor Spares and Repairs.
