The ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) Digital Technologies exam was an independent, skills-based assessment run by UNSW Global (a division of the University of New South Wales, Australia). It tested students’ abilities in digital technology, computational thinking, and ICT literacy.
I received a Merit in the UNSW Global ICAS Digital Technologies in 2018, it meant that my performance was above average but did not reach the Distinction or High Distinction level. I performed well relative to my peers at that time but was slightly below the top 25% of students who received a Credit or higher. However, It was still a strong achievement in a competitive academic assessment.
