I have strong communication skills, especially once I have gotten to know everyone and enjoy working collaboratively with a team, part of this gained through my 5 years of extra curricular theatre experience and with in business collaboration in retail and in the field conducting field trials. My biggest positive is my passion and continuous drive to improve and learn, if there is something I do not understand yet I am not afraid to ask, there's always opportunities to grow in a workspace and I am excited to explore that as I am starting out in my career. The horticulture industry excites me and I am most interested in ensuring quality and exploring ways in which we can make horticulture more sustainable.

Field Trial Assistant

Trial involved visiting different farm trial sites, digging spade squares and sifting through soil to record grass grub and purina within the soil. This study was looking into an organic pesticide which was tested alongside the industry standard. I thoroughly enjoyed the work and gained valuable experience of working in the field and assisting in data collection.
