Recruit Volunteer Firefighter within local community.

Attend weekly trainings plus supplementary training activities.

Respond to Emergency Calls that include but are not limited to

Fires - Vegetation, Property, Vehicle. MVC & MVA vehicle accidents, Attend Purple & Red Medical Calls.

Community engagement events, with particular attention to fire risk and reduction within the community.

  • Setting up, Operating and monitoring of a full manual process plant.

  • From January 2018 I was part of a new capability program designed by Fonterra for new employees, a 5 month on boarding program to gain Dairy knowledge, how to learn and think outside the box, plant exposure by travelling to Te Rapa, Hamilton for 4 weeks to another Cream Cheese Plant, working on shift to gain experience, become familiar with Fonterra manufacturing practices.
  • From June 2018, worked alongside Tetra Pak Engineers to commission the new Cream Cheese Plant, performing line flushes, valve actuation's, process diagnostics of equipment.
  • Setting up, monitoring and operating automated production machinery.
  • Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards.
  • Perform basic routine maintenance, troubleshooting, asset care, plant appearance.
  • Accurate data recording through log sheets as a snapshot of the state of the pant at the given time.
  • Permit Issuer for the purpose of Issuing Permits within the Cream Cheese factory to contractors and company maintenance staff for work to be carried through risk reduction via task analysis JSA/Permits
  • During the last 5 milk seasons I have trained multiple Operators up on the Wetside part of the Cream Cheese Process.

  • This was a fixed term role based out in Darfield on the Central Plains Irrigation project, I was employed to assemble, fit/install a variety of mechanical components in relation to farm turnouts, PRV's, flow meters, gate valves all in varying diameter 150mm-1800mm and other specialist mechanical fittings ad also perform minor drainage related repairs on farm land caused by damage throughout the project.
  • Required to follow specified plans to tight tolerances while assembling and fitting components, to ensure a high quality of product is being installed for its 80-year life span
  • Within team of 6, myself being the Downer only employee of the team, reporting with site engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, CPW, farmers.

  • Commenced as an apprentice, completed Drainlaying apprenticeship Jan 2016, gaining the required industry knowledge and experience both practically and theoretically to carry out Drainlaying in NZ
  • Adept in the relevant New Zealand Building Code and Regulations and Australian Standards, to which Drain laying is set against.
  • Throughout my apprenticeship, I became in charge of operating a small team on jobs, that comprised of small drainage repairs through to laying of domestic drains in dwellings new and old, to several commercial size jobs at several key Christchurch locations.
