I was born in Gisborne, moved to Christchurch around age 2. My family had a work opportunity in Invercargill so we moved here when I was 11 years old. From a very young age I've played a vast amount of sport including cricket, motocross and rugby being my favourite, that I currently play. Ever since a young age, working as a pilot had been a dream of mine. As a kid, when I wasn't outside playing, I would be playing flight simulator on my Ipad. Through out the last couple of years during high school the Pilot dream was some what 'clouded' by my peers getting involved in the construction industry. Whilst working full time, I quickly realised that Scaffolding wasn't a career that I wanted to stay in, so I came up with a plan to save up as much money as I could to fund flying. Like my family, I'm a very hands on, logical thinking, mechanically minded, efficient, hard working person. I'm a dynamic and adaptable professional with experiences in a wide range of work.
During my second year of training at Southern wings, my study work load reduced as my exams had been completed. I was offered a job relief driving for Calum Chilton who is a independent contractor for NZ Couriers. I work casually every Saturday from 0800 - 1200.
