• Interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the dimensions and materials required.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on framing materials.
• Assemble and fasten materials to create frameworks, including studs, joists, and rafters.
• Ensure walls are leveled, squared, plumbed, and sheathed appropriately.

Gib Installation:

• Measure, cut, and install gypsum board panels to interior walls and ceilings.
• Secure gypsum board panels to metal or wooden studs.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.

Finishing:

• Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces.
• Repair any surface imperfections or damages, ensuring a smooth finish.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to structures as specified by project requirements.
• Install trim, molding, and other detailed finish work to enhance final products.

Cabinet Installation:

• Measure and mark the position of cabinets according to design plans.
• Secure cabinets to walls, floors, or other structures using tools and hardware.
• Adjust cabinets for proper alignment and fit.
• Install cabinet handles, knobs, and other hardware.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety rules, regulations, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
• Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean, maintain, and sharpen carpentry tools and equipment to ensure they remain in optimal working condition.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and industry trends to deliver the highest quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in a range of carpentry tasks, from foundational work to detailed finishing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Measurement & Planning: Accurately measure, mark, and arrange materials in accordance with blueprints, sketches, or building plans.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Cutting & Shaping: Use a variety of tools and machinery to cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials.
• Installation: Assemble and fasten materials to create frameworks or structures, including joists, studs, and rafters.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety practices, guidelines, and company or site-specific safety plans, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and team members.

• Operation: Operate the sawmill machinery efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and the production of quality lumber.
• Blade Management: Regularly inspect, change, and adjust blades as required, ensuring they remain sharp and in optimal working condition.
• Documentation: Complete, maintain, and organize all necessary paperwork, including logs, reports, and maintenance records, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments, such as maintenance personnel and quality control, to ensure the smooth operation of the mill.
