I trained as a radiographer at University College Dublin and I was offered a job a Mater Misericordiae University Hospital upon graduation. During my time here I had opportunities to develop my skill base to include nuclear medicine, train and run cardiac catheter laboratory and train in ultrasound. Relocating to Cork facilitated further opportunities to broaden my skill base.
In more recent years I had to worked supporting children with special needs. This experience enabled me to learn transferable skills to use when scanning paediatric patients.
