Introduction

Justin is a highly qualified Senior Programme and Project Manager having successfully delivered many waterfall, agile, and hybrid projects and programmes throughout New Zealand, Australia, Israel and Asia for the past 20 years. Justin’s recent success involved delivering a work programme for the Clinical Chiefs and Clinical Advisors for the Ministry of Health. This was a challenging piece of work required to be delivered within a short delivery timeframe. Justin was able to quickly establish relationships with the Deputy Director General, Group Manager and Clinicians for the Directorate and also establish relationships with the Deputy Director Generals and Group Managers across the Ministry to help improve the way the Clinicians work within their group, across the Directorate Groups within the Ministry, and across the Health Sector. Justin has a wealth of experience across many agencies in Government and Local Government including Education, Health, Justice, and Utilities having achieved successful technology and business change implementations in cloud-based platforms, education software, ERP, and procurement and digital programmes. He has proven delivery in projects that are at a high risk of failing and many times has come in, established working relationships with executives, project sponsors, and boards, reviewed and assessed where programmes and projects are at, provided recommendations, re-baselined, and successfully led teams to deliver for his clients. He has led project teams and mentored Project Managers, Coordinators, and staff throughout the delivery of project management methodologies. Justin has a management consulting background having worked for KPMG New Zealand, KPMG Hong Kong, and Cap Gemini Ernst and Young China. Outside of work, Justin is heavily involved with his local Iwi (tribe) Ngaa Puhi and local Hapuu (Sub-tribes) on treaty settlement matters as one of the largest tribes yet to settle with the Government on historical land confiscation and injustices since the signing of Te Tiriti in 1840. Justin also sits on an advisory board, Takiwa, responsible for looking at ways Marae in the regions can work more efficiently together to become more self-sustainable both in housing, creating employment, technology to connect Marae in remote areas to its people and the upgrading and maintenance of Marae. Justin is also Treasurer for his local Marae, Rawhitiroa, and sits as a Marae Trustee. Justin is looking for opportunities where he can make a difference, work with dynamic driven teams, is challenged, requires problem solving, and requires delivery results.
